THE DEPARTMENT OF "HOMELAND SECURITY" WAS NEVER A GOOD IDEA

     Whatever the faults of the United States there was never an internal police apparatus of the sort that was present in many other nations often under the name of Public Security or Internal Security.  Unfortunately the Bush-Cheney criminal clique, once escorted into power by their right wing co-conspirators on the Supreme Court, created just such an instrument of internal repression after the 9-11 attacks.  Democrats and Republicans alike were happy to ape Nazi rhetoric this bureaucratic monstrosity was labeled the department of "Homeland Security".  Two words that are a complete lie.

The Department of Homeland Security has protected us from nothing and burns billions a day like it is firewood.  The Department of Homeland security is creating a meddlesome and interventionist arm of government that seems more directed at the control of public opinion and the repression of democratic activity by any citizen who doesn't like the new police state.

The Department of Homeland Security has become a career option for those who can't find work in an economy run into the ground and made into a national security racket by the endless predation of capitalists at home and abroad.  The bureaucratic puss suckers that like this sort of work are Little Eichmans, predatory self-righteous mercenaries waiting for orders from the Fuhrer, or even right wing consiracies like "The Family", so they can prey upon the general citizenry whenever it becomes discontent with the new levels of exploitation, homelessness, and joblessness.


Let's put these  nascent gestapo on the street so they can get real jobs or join the fight for social justice which is the only security our nation and our world really needs.  Shut down, defund, abolish the Department of Homeland Security.  What a bunch of crap!
